It's a Man's World - Short Film
In a post-apocalyptic world where a zombie virus has infected only females, Jono and Mark must save Jono's wife, who is being held as a slave by the evil Flesh Panderers.
A not-so-innocent gasbag about movie ideas with a mate birthed the concept for IAMW, that and a love for zombie and post apocalyptic films at the time... who am I kidding, I still love them.
More so, the themes explored - masculinity, feminism and loss, were manifested through my partner moving overseas. This formed the spine from which this world is set, one without the other, one without balance, one without hope.
This was my first short fresh out of film school, so the dialogue is replete and rife, but I'm proud of my motivations and directions at such an early stage in my filmmaking pilgrimage.
